The SEO experts at Big Leap designed a custom strategy that harnessed the power of Google My Business, page optimization, and a robust content marketing strategy. Combined with an overarching focus on keywords, this personalized approach netted SwimJim with rankings in the top position on page 1 of Google searches, as well as coveted online real estate in answer box listings and in high-converting Google map packs.

Local SEO

SwimJim wanted greater brand visibility to drive sales in two separate locations: New York City and Houston, Texas. The Big Leap team combed through SwimJim’s location listings and Google My Business profiles and optimized them for high-ranking keywords. This resulted in SwimJim being listed in the local pack for high-converting, location-based keywords. (The local pack refers to whenever someone searches for a local service online, and Google shows a map among the organic search results.)

SwimJim nabbed the #1 listing for “swimming lessons” in Houston, and the #2 spot for “Houston swim lessons”. Since local pack maps appear in almost 30% of all first page Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs), it is highly sought after placement.
