A confused NerdEveryone in the SEO world knows that blogging is one great way to get links to your website. I have been amazed at how many people, however, that write TERRIBLE blog comments. A blog comment actually has to be talking about the article, so if you’re too lazy and just write something generic you’re out of luck for getting it approved. Writing RELEVANT questions is also a great strategy for getting people to actually approve your comment. So all in all, write something about the article, but now for my favorite part of this post, here is a list of bad blog comments that I have actually seen people write:

5th Place

“Nice Post” or “Nice Article”

4th Place

“asdfasdfasdfasfdasdfasdfasdfasfd”

3rd Place

“I like the approach you took with this article. It’s not often that you simply discover a subject so to the point and enlightening.”

2nd Place

“Take a look at this. It may be highly relevant to your own content….”

1st Place

“Only want to say your article is impressive. The lucidity in your post is simply impressive and i can take for granted you are an expert on this field. Well with your permission allow me to grab your rss feed to keep up to date with forthcoming post. Thanks a million and please keep up the gratifying work.”

I actually did approve the last comment, because it was so bad. Once again, when you write a comment, comment on the content of the blog and your odds of getting approved are at least 50 percent better.
