Experience

Keri’s HR career began in college while working for the Ken Garff group. Now, with over two decades of HR experience under her belt, she has worked with 5,000+ employees across various industries such as automotive, healthcare, and SaaS.

Throughout her career, Keri has leaned on patience and adaptability—two key elements she believes are key in successfully navigating the dynamic landscape of her field. These insights ultimately helped her drive HR functions for a company that grew from 1,500 to 3,700 employees within three years, something she likes to call “learning in dog years.”

Keri credits her initial training to a dedicated mentor who instilled in her a commitment to continuous learning and mentorship. Her dedication to nurturing positive change within organizations and her unwavering commitment to the profession continue to shape her journey as a leading figure in the HR industry.

Currently, Keri thrives in her role at Big Leap, which she believes is the perfect size to make an impact: “It’s big enough to do fun things, but small enough to be nimble.”

Outside of HR, Keri is a mother of active teenagers and loves to travel and cook.
