We’ve worked with BambooHR on a number of digital marketing strategies. More recently, we partnered with them to expand and optimize their paid search campaigns, and ultimately capture more of their industry’s market share.
Due to our PPC optimizations, such as ad and landing page testing, BambooHR immediately saw results and significantly increased their PPC budget after just one month. We also focused on restructuring the campaign to be more efficient and easier to scale at higher spending levels. The campaign was a very collaborative effort between BambooHR and Big Leap, and through this collaboration, we saw a number of great performance improvements. Our main focus in restructuring the paid campaigns was to be more granular and focused on individual keywords and associated ads. We also added several hundred niche, long-tail keywords to pull in low-cost leads, while eliminating many irrelevant or high-cost/low-converting keywords. Additionally, we simplified the landing page process to use one platform.
This allowed us to have better control over the campaigns and provide site visitors with a more unified, consistent experience. This also allowed us to gain better control of the landing page experience, which in turn helped the conversion rate.
In all, these strategies paid off big. While maintaining similar lead cost figures, we saw massive increases in the following categories:
- Number of paid search leads
- CTR in brand search terms, resulting in major increase in leads
- Percentage of search market share
