There are a number of cool SEO conferences that are coming up, including SearchLove next weekend, but there has been a recent update on SMX Social Media Marketing 2014.  Not to be confused with SMX East, SMX Social Media Marketing will be held a month later in Las Vegas, Nevada.  SMX Social Media Marketing will be held mid-November, and they recently unveiled what will be a part of their pre-conference workshop held on November 18th, the day before the beginning of the conference.

The workshop will be led by some of the leading internet marketers today and will include the following topics:

Social Media Marketing Boot Camp – The editors of Marketing Land will be teaching the basics of social media and how to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry.  Topics included Social Media 101, Social Media Etiquette, Business Opportunities in Social Media, and more.  If you attend all of the boot camp sessions, then you will be able to take home a certificate of completion.

In-house Social Media Exchange – At a previous SMX conference, this workshop specifically for in-house marketers was a huge success, so they are bringing it back for another year.  Only in-house social media marketers attend this workshop where everyone will be able to discuss what challenges they face while working for the big brands.  The workshop is dynamic in nature to make sure that all of your questions are answered.

Content Marketing Accelerator – For anyone who wants to learn more about creating and marketing unique content, this workshop will be able to teach you what you need to know in a day.  They promise to cover everything from creating a strategy to building links to your new content, and then how to start the process over again.  Upon completion, they will also offer you a certificate that shows that you understand how to create content for your own business.
